ClassToHome Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ClassToHome, operated by Will Chase AI Solutions, LLC, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform at classtohome.com and app.classtohome.com.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially students and minors. Please read this policy carefully.

For Teachers:

• Full name and email address
• School or district name
• Account credentials (password stored encrypted, never in plain text)
• Content you create: agendas, assignments, grades, announcements, uploaded files

For Students:

• Full name
• Student ID number (GTID or teacher-assigned)
• Assignment submissions including written responses and uploaded files
• Scores and feedback released by the teacher

For Parents and Guardians:

• Full name and email address
• Account credentials

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial information, health information, or any data not necessary to operate the platform.

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Provide and operate the ClassToHome platform
• Allow teachers to manage classes and communicate with students and parents
• Allow students to access assignments and submit work
• Allow parents to monitor their child's progress
• Improve platform performance and fix bugs

We do not use any user data for advertising. We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties for commercial purposes.

ClassToHome is designed for use in K-12 educational settings and takes student privacy seriously.

FERPA: ClassToHome operates as a school official under FERPA when used by schools and districts. Student education records are accessible only to authorized teachers, school administrators, and the student's own parents or guardians.

COPPA: ClassToHome does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Student accounts for users under 13 are created by teachers through school-authorized roster uploads. Parents are notified via email invitation when their child's account is activated. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately at hello@classtohome.com.

We do not sell student data. Ever.

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers who help us operate the platform (email delivery via SendGrid) — these providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose
• When required by law, court order, or government authority
• To protect the safety of any person in an emergency situation

All data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text. Student submissions and grades are accessible only to authorized users.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@classtohome.com.

Teacher accounts and associated content are retained for the duration of the subscription and for 30 days after cancellation, after which they are permanently deleted.

Student records are retained for the current school year and deleted at the end of the school year unless the teacher or school admin requests earlier deletion.

Schools and districts may request deletion of all associated data at any time by contacting hello@classtohome.com.

Parents and guardians have the right to:

• Access their child's information stored in ClassToHome
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of their child's data
• Withdraw consent for their child's participation

Teachers have the right to:

• Access all data associated with their account
• Export their class data at any time
• Request deletion of their account and all associated data
